Song Lore:

A race of guardians to protect the flow of existence, The Sentinels worked hard to keep a force of pure darkness contained within a spherical prison. Their memory and faded echo of their existence is touched by the hands of the artist, discovering their structures and learning of their demise, as well as a peek into the future, to see unprecedented chaos and inferno.

Lurking in a graveyard
Waiting for its freedom

We were the keepers of eternity
Bridged all of space and time between the towers
We were the sentinels that could sustain
Peace and tranquility beyond the pain

We held the universe and stood our ground
Pushed back the void consuming all creation
Fought to the end with every soul unbound
Here where we lay upon our lost, forgotten grave

Burdened protecting life
But paid the price of our lives
Timelines in disarray
Left in the dust, we will pray

Long gone our future bonds
Fragments of time washed away
Cinders of burning laws
Fallen on dead ears

Of a future nightmare
Burning skies and screams blare
In this time we can’t see
What future has no mercy

A sentinel holds the threads of this universe together, it is our duty to protect the flow of eternity. To watch over lesser beings, knowing they will never evolve. To curate life as it wanders aimlessly by instinct alone. To retain the balance of light and dark. To contain the shadow in its hollow prison, and to never interfere with the flow of time.
