Song Lore:

The Artist begins seeing visions throughout space, with species and events not making sense to him, watching cities form, thrive and fall in complete chaos. War and death spread amongst the stars and the world's he would be encapsulated by. But the fear of never ending chaos and conflict terrifies him, unsure if he should tell his family of his findings, or hide the truth and bear the moments as they come.

Choices, cold and dour reside, from which I cannot flee
Burdens, hidden, mine alone, threaten what they built
Beauty dies in darkness deep, and innocence in guilt

Alone, alone I must isolate my curse
Flee from those I love, this truth is perverse, nightmarish
Alone, the sole witness of reality’s demise
