Song Lore:

When I was young, I thought I was a bringer of peace and strength to all I touched. I was under an illusion that my power was pure in its intent, and that what I thought was right was the way things should be. Oh how wrong I was.

With desire for peace I unintentionally created a species ill equipped for conflict. War and battle not being in their blood. As time passed I look back on the first race, the ones I failed, and I realize the universe is not a peaceful place. There is a darkness in all of us, but it doesn't mean we need to be consumed by it.

The pain I've caused, the blood drawn and the flesh burnt means nothing if I can't teach others to protect their own, I don't intend to make the same mistake twice. Travelers above, may our souls wander safely into the night.
