Song Lore:

During the Journey of self discovery, the mother witnesses a creature along her travels to a planet brimming with life, a darkness approaching. Unable to understand or make out what she was seeing, a dark figure emerged from the shadows of the forest, standing before her. Scanning her existence before shifting its appearance to look like her, but entirely black. Before the creature can attack, the mother is pulled from her cosmic body and back into her real one, only to awaken with fear in her eyes.

Fearing its hunger for bloodshed
Reaching to take me away

inside, I sense its demons within
A sneer, watching it leave not a soul

Fate have in store
Nothing I do puts it at ease

When all’s said and done, I
surrender a free mind
hung by the strings yet to break
Or held down by chains
